Is NorthpointGolf only for school golf?
No. The standalone app is for individual golfers and casual groups. The Schools Edition adds coach, team and match-management tools.
Can a parent track a golfer without changing the golfer's score?
Yes. Score Watch is an unofficial observer card. When linked to a golfer, the golfer's own submitted score can remain the primary reported score while the observer record is retained for comparison.
Does NorthpointGolf work for tournaments?
It can be used to track tournament rounds and supports starting on any hole, which is useful for shotgun starts. Tournament organizers should still follow the event's official scoring and rules procedures.
Are the built-in golf rules official rulings?
No. They are a quick-reference guide for common situations. NorthpointGolf links to official USGA resources when an authoritative ruling is needed.
